Melanie Summer was born in Germany where her career started in Real Estate as a Property Valuer and Property investor.

In 1994 she embarked on a three year sailing trip around the world resulting in her permanent move to Australia. Melanie has lived in the Whitsundays where she was part owner of the local LJ Hooker Whitsunday and Airlie Beach.  In 2004 Melanie and her daughter came to the Sunshine Coast where she worked as Financial Controller for one of the major local town-planning practices until she founded Flash Fotos in 2005, which became one of the largest photography studios in Australia.

Melanie is also a Master Practitioner in Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP, a successful health and business coach and inspirational speaker becoming a finalist of the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network Award 2010 and finalist of the Telstra Business Women of the Year 2012.  Her career highlight was winning the National Telstra Small Business Award in 2011.

Having recently completed her Executive MBA at the Sunshine University, Melanie works for Property Only in the capacity of Accounts Manager and Property Management mentor, enhancing the team with her wealth of knowledge in the Real Estate and Property Investment industry.  Melanie is also personally a multiple property owner.
